Short sales are anything but!

I just wanted to take a moment and gripe a bit. We put an offer on a house over 2 1/2 weeks ago and we still haven't heard back. Why, you may ask, because we are not dealing with someone, but with something! We are in the Short Sale Zone, do-do-do-do do-do-do-do. That's right, the place where no normal rules apply, and banks can take forever to get back to you. I've heard it can take months, 1/2 a year or worse never, just to be waiting in limbo. You would think it would make the bank happy to get their money sooner than later, but I guess I think like a person and not a bank.

Many of you say just walk away, move on, get over it. I'm thinking that's just what we're going to have to do. Time is running out. The bank doesn't even know what they're missing. But it is about time to wake from this dream and leave the....duh-duh-duh Short Sale Zone.
