P.E Art Show

Yep, my son is so talented that he didn't have 1 not 2 but 3 pieces in the P.E. Art show. Okay so everyone had something in the art show. The first huge guy he did with 3 other boys the next piece he calls 'Super J' and the last piece is a fish and sponge bob is standing on its back. Not bad for a six year old. Our budding artist, okay so he may not be budding, but he is ours (and cute).

Did you see that?

Don and I were working in the basement reno and I looked up just in time to see Josh chasing a cottontail rabbit. He later told me that he (meaning Josh) was on the playground when he saw an interesting (yes he did say interesting) butterfly. So he started to follow it around our yard when it stopped next to a rabbit. He thought that he would try to pet the rabbit when it took off. This is the picture Josh drew after the experience, and that is pretty much what it looked like.

As I said in a different post Josh loves superheros. His latest artwork he likes to color and cut out the person. First up are our hero's. From left to right: Superman, Batman, Spider man and Wolverine.


Next we have characters from Super Why: Princess Pea (I think he did a great job on the eyes and scale), Super Why and oh I forget his name something pig.


















Holly is all into Ariel so he made her a mermaid.

His first day of school he drew this do you remember what he wore? But I bet you didn't see the hole in the knee that he thought was pretty cool. He captured it in this picture. The lady with him is his teacher.

Presents and Art

For Josh's birthday he got some money from different people. This last weekend we took him down the toy aisles to pick out what he wanted. I thought he would be trying to fill up the cart. He himmed and haaed over things, and thought about things. I don't need this because I already have an ironman or I don't need any more GI Joes. He did really lean towards the Toy Story stuff, but we told him he couldn't get anything he already had. Plus the buzz that talked cost too much.

Finally he decided upon this transformer. It doesn't transform, but it talks and has a light laser and wings to fly. He really likes it. He also got a Toy Story 3 water paint set and a Toy story 3 coloring book.
Today he colored this, using his toy as the model. I was pretty impressed. It is not the smoothest coloring, but I thought that he did really good for a budding artist!
